My name is Rice' Swede and I am the Computer Lab Teacher here at CHES.  My husband and I both graduated from Mississippi State in 1985 and we love our Bulldogs, in the good times AND the bad!! We have lived in Olive Branch for 15 years.  We have 3 children, one a graduate of Mississippi College and is now in her 2nd year of medical school, one a graduate of Mississippi State and one who is a sophomore at Northwest Mississippi Community College. We also have a very spoiled Havanese dog who is 9 years old. We have lived many places throughout my husband's career, including Louisiana, Alabama, Arkansas, Texas and back to Mississippi.  I was born and raised in Mississippi and we have lived here longer than any other state, so we both claim this as home!

Technology is an integral part of our lives in this day and age and it is important for our children to learn how to use technology properly as well as have fun while learning. Our 2nd - 5th graders spend most class periods learning how to type on the keyboard.  Our K-1st graders play games in the computer lab which not only improve their computer skills but offer Language and Math games which reinforce the skills they are learning in their classrooms.

If you ever have any questions about the computer lab, please don't hesitate to contact me.
