Thank you for visiting our site. We are going to have a super year in second grade! Our class will be a place where students will be actively engaged, challenged to do their best, and have fun learning everyday!

Experience

I have been teaching for 41 years. My how time flies when you are able to do what you enjoy! I taught thirty four years in kindergarten and two years in Pre-K for Shelby County and Memphis City Schools. I retired from Shelby County Schools and joined the great staff at CHES. This is my 5th year at CHES. I am blessed to be a part of this wonderful school. I am honored and happy to continue my career, as I teach your super second grade boys and girls! 

Bio

My name is Wendy Campbell. I will be your child's second grade teacher. I believe all children should have a class where they are loved, encouraged, and challenged everyday. Second grade will be a fun experience for your child. 

   I have been married to my best friend, James Campbell, Sr. for 43 years. We have lived in Olive Branch 33 years. While he supports all of my teaching endeavors, he is also busy with his own career. He is the Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Olive Branch.

  We have a wonderful family. Our son, James Campbell, Jr. is married to Lisa Carey Campbell. They gave us two precious granddaughters, Caroline and Dorothy. Our daughter, Hannah Campbell Taylor is married to Cameron Taylor. Hannah and Cameron are both teachers at Lewisburg Middle School.

   I enjoy teaching children, traveling, outdoor activities, and spending time with my family. Loving God, family, and friends makes my life complete.
