My name is Kendyl York, and I am so excited to be a part of Desoto County Schools. I began attending Desoto County Schools when I was in Kindergarten, but later went to The Bodine School because I have the learning disability Dyslexia. I graduated college from The University of Memphis as Summa Cum Laude with a bachelors degree in K-5 elementary education. I married my high school sweetheart right after college too. My favorite things to do include traveling, shopping, spending time with family or close friends, playing board games cooking, and, of course, teaching! I am so proud to be a part in helping shape the minds of young children.
