Mrs. Julie Holmes

Welcome to our class!

Hi, my name is Julie Holmes and I am honored to be your child’s teacher this year! I have worked at CHES for 17 years. I have 2 amazing children. My daughter, Erin, is a senior at Delta State University and will graduate in December 2022. My son, Blake, is attending NWCC and is in the Utility Lineman Program. He will also graduate in December 2022. Both of my children have attended Center Hill Schools since kindergarten and are graduates of Center Hill High School, so the Mustang family is near and dear to my heart!

I love teaching first grade! Watching my students grow academically, emotionally, and physically throughout the school year simply amazes me!  I have high expectations for all my students, both academically and behaviorally. My goal is to create a SAFE and FUN learning environment, build character, and instill a love of learning in my students.
