Mrs. Heather McClure

My name is Heather McClure and I am thrilled to be your child's teacher this year.  This is my 15th year in education and I am so excited to work at such an amazing school.

I graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2006 and began teaching 2nd grade.  I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade.  I was also a school Librarian for 2 years.  I am passionate about teaching.

I have been married to my husband, Russ, for 14 years and we are the proud parents of 3 daughters and one son.

8:30-9:00 - Morning Work/Morning Meeting

9:00- 11:00 - Reading/ Language Arts

11:05-11:30 - Lunch

11:30-12:15 - Writer's Workshop

12:15-1:00 - Activity

1:00-2:00 - Math

2:00-2:30 - Recess

2:30-3:00 -  Snack/Pack up

Monday: Art

Tuesday- PE-remember to wear tennis shoes

Wednesday- Music

Thursday- Computer

Friday- Library

Please make sure you are checking your child's folder each day and initialing the behavior calendar.

Please make sure all transportation changes are made in writing or call the office as soon as you can.
