About the Teacher
Education
After graduating high school from Southern Baptist Educational Center, I attended the University of Mississippi. I graduated in 1996 from Ole Miss with a degree in Elementary Education. I taught 8th grade English and Literature at Olive Branch Middle School for two years, then stayed at home for 3 years after having my second child. While at home, I went back to the University of Mississippi and earned my K-12 Gifted Education certification. This will be my 23rd year of teaching and 21st year teaching Spotlight at Center Hill Elementary School for grades 2-5.
